Course Outline
Ontario's Ministry of Transportation requires that every new driver attains a minimum of 20 hours of in-class sessions plus workbook and 10 hours of in-car instruction.
In-Class Sessions:
ESO Driver Training makes sure that each of our students learns about a variety of driving techniques and experiences. Our highly trained in-class instructors educate our students about numerous topics such as:
- Emergency braking and rear crash avoidance
- Driving in adverse conditions
- City and highway driving
- Insurance
- Drinking and driving
- How to pass your road test
- Safe and responsible driving to avoid collision
In-Car Sessions:
An experienced licensed instructor will teach you proper driving mechanisms in one of our dual controlled cars. All in-car lessons are held individually- one instructor for each student. This comfortable atmosphere assures that each of our students learns and understands the concepts of safe driving. Our certified instructors� incredible amount of knowledge, patience and experience allows them to efficiently teach our students numerous safety methods such as the following:
- Smooth and efficient braking, steering and maneuvering skills
- Accident prediction and avoidance
- Head on collision avoidance
- City and highway driving
- Numerous parking techniques
- Keeping safe distance between cars
- Simulated Road Test
Road Tests:
You can book a road test appointment here.Every student will have the option to be accompanied to their road tests with one of our highly trained instructors. They will be given a full 90 minute preparation lesson in our dual controlled car prior to the test. They will also have the opportunity to use the vehicle which they have been training in during their road test to ensure a confident and successful testing experience
