Brian Trumphour passes….
It is with deep
sorrow that we tell all of the area pool players that our fellow friend and
player Brian Trumphour passed away Sunday morning from complications of
Leukemia Treatment. Brian was a super guy and good pool player who had a
really great laugh and a caring spirit. He will be deeply missed by many of
us.

tournament so big that players from all over the world compete for title to a
single championship. That was at the age of 22 years old, barely old enough
to be sanctioned. This year, the older and more experienced Ben equaled the
challenge at the age of 23 and took home the VNEA Men’s Intermediate 9-Ball
event. Although he had to go through the loser’s bracket he was able to beat
the winner’s bracket champ twice to take home the 1st place prize.
To put icing on the cake, Ben decided to try his skill in the Artistic
challenge and he was able to garner a 3rd place finish. The
amazing fact here is while all the other contestants learned the shots that would
be employed by going on line and practicing them months before the event,
