i didn't pick up a paint brush until i was at least 25 years old. and then i just didn't put it down for a while. at first, i painted trees. and branches. and whimsy...
now, i've mixed in a bit of femininity for a perfectly girly-girl mixture of surealism and joy. sometimes i add a touch of charcoal or paper, but mostly i simply use acrylic on canvas.
